Live well in retirement

Communities designed to support wellbeing
Our communities are thoughtfully designed with accessibility, natural light, open communal areas, quiet spaces, and landscaped gardens. Most feature group exercise zones, gym equipment, and some include swimming pools and bowling greens. Walking groups are extremely popular for those who love to socialise while exercising.
Residents choose how much they want to dine together, either via regular catered meals, group takeaway orders or visits to local restaurants. Many communities also provide ready meals for purchase, so you can enjoy a nutritious meal and take a night off cooking.
To support cognitive and mental health, residents participate in book clubs, movie clubs, games, art, dance and music. Guest speakers and other engaging activities help stimulate the mind and lift the spirit.
Shared spaces encourage social interaction through clubs, events, excursions, and volunteering—both within VMCH and the broader community. Access to friends and pastoral care enhances emotional wellbeing.
Many villages host visiting allied health professionals, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, speech pathologists, dietitians, and specialists in hearing and vision.
Talk to the VMCH staff about the health and wellbeing options available at your preferred village.

Live well at home with support tailored to you.
If you need help with everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, laundry, gardening, and personal care, reach out to our friendly team for personalised guidance. At VMCH, we offer a wide range of programs, services, and government-funded care to support your needs at home.
A friendly chat can help you understand the options for having paid and government funded care services provided to you in your retirement residence. Our team can support you—without placing extra pressure on family.
As needs evolve, this may include accessing support for medication management and wellness checks, adapting services as circumstances change.
If you or your partner require higher care, we can connect you with VMCH’s residential aged care facilities for respite or transitional support.
